Maple Finance is being welcomed into the crypto lending ecosystem, with new products and services. Going live next month, Maple is introducing its lending suite to institutional investors and other crypto related companies. The main objective is to create a global, efficient capital marketplace to drive the crypto economy. Thereby creating a decentralized finance (DeFi) marketplace for institutional capital and making under-collateralized loans a reality. This includes allowing institutions to borrow from Liquidity Pools funded by the DeFi ecosystem and managed by experienced investors.
Maple has constructed their business model to allow Liquidity Providers to generate yield by lending to top corporates & institutions in the crypto sector. Liquidity Pools may fund a variety of borrowers, offering Liquidity Providers access to diversified exposure. Maple is designed to be a set-and-forget solution for Liquidity Providers, as Pool Delegates conduct due-diligence on Borrowers and manage the Pools.
“The launch of our first pool will be a significant moment for DeFi, enabling institutions, sophisticated investors and individuals to gain access to a stable, underlying yield generated from crypto-focused companies, that are profitable and reputable,” Maple Finance co-founder Sid Powell said in a statement.
Industry observers hail Maple’s announcement as essential for the crypto DeFi lending space. Welcome to the reality of reputation base crypto lending.
