A new consultant has been appointed by Uniswap. She is Stacey Cunningham who before now, headed the New York Stock Exchange as the first woman in such exalted capacity.
In her new role, Cunningham is expected to bring on board her wealth of knowledge in Tradfi for conversion into DeFi, as a means of providing assistance that would guarantee Uniswap’s slot in Web3. Cunningham, a member of the BBC’s rating of 100 Women, had been employed by the New York Exchange as a salesperson, grew through the ranks, and was inducted into its board of directors about 7 months ago.
On the Ether Blockchain alone, a combination of auto-enabled financial activities involving different cryptocurrency token exists. In contrast to Binance, the Uniswap Exchange is a decentralized one that harnesses an array of digital currencies; the trend is similar to what Cunningham is already familiar with from her previous working environment and bears semblance with the unique goals that Uniswap was established for.
On a final note, Uniswap’s revelation of a trading volume of more than $1trillion as of the mid-second quarter of 2022, only shows its determination to stand out among the rest of the pack in the crypto world.
