A Tennessee husband and wife, Michael and Amanda Griffis, are now facing charges over their alleged fraudulent investment scheme called “Blessings of God Thru Crypto.” The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) lodged a complaint on July 24, revealing how the couple reportedly swindled at least $6 million from over 100 victims in just six months.
According to the CFTC, Michael and Amanda Griffis tapped into their real estate business connections to lure unsuspecting individuals into a multi-million dollar investment pool between July 2022 and January 2023. Among their victims were mortgage brokers and former customers of their real estate business.
