LEESBURG, Va. — Christian leaders, pastors, public officials and policy advocates are preparing to gather in Northern Virginia this week for the 2026 Pray Vote Stand Summit, a three-day event focused on prayer, biblical worldview, cultural issues and Christian participation in public life.
The summit, organized by Family Research Council (FRC) and FRC Action, is scheduled for September 24–26 at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia, approximately an hour outside Washington, D.C.
Faith Meets the Public Square
Organizers describe Pray Vote Stand as an opportunity for Christians to examine the intersection of faith, government and culture while encouraging attendees to become more engaged in their communities and the public square.
The 2026 gathering comes as the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary and approaches the 2026 midterm elections. FRC President and FRC Action Chairman Tony Perkins said the summit is intended to address not only political questions but what the organization considers the deeper spiritual issues confronting the nation.
FRC says the gathering continues a tradition spanning 21 years, including the organization’s previous Values Voter Summit and the Pray Vote Stand events that followed it.
Major Cultural Issues on the Agenda
According to FRC, scheduled discussions will address a wide range of subjects, including the 2026 election, the judiciary, abortion medication, artificial intelligence, socialism, Sharia law, the Middle East and passing a biblical worldview to younger generations.
The organization also says speakers will discuss its concerns surrounding medical interventions for minors experiencing gender dysphoria. These policy positions and descriptions are those presented by FRC as part of the summit’s announced agenda.
National Christian and Political Figures Scheduled
The announced speaker lineup includes prominent Christian leaders and public figures.
Among those confirmed by FRC are Dr. Ben Carson, former U.S. secretary of Housing and Urban Development; Dr. Albert Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri; author and commentator Os Guinness; Michele Bachmann, chair of FRC’s board of directors; Pastor Carter Conlon of Times Square Church; Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel; Erin Hawley of Alliance Defending Freedom; and Tony Perkins.
Other announced participants include pastors, attorneys, authors, activists and policy specialists.
Prayer, Biblical Worldview and Christian Engagement
The summit’s central message is reflected in its name: Pray. Vote. Stand. Organizers are encouraging Christians to pray about the direction of the country, participate in civic life and approach cultural and political questions through their understanding of Scripture.
FRC describes the event as a gathering for “prayer, inspiration, and action,” with sessions designed around faith, family and freedom.
The Pray Vote Stand Summit begins Thursday, September 24, and concludes Saturday, September 26, 2026. Registration is required.
