Mintable is an NFT marketplace built on the Ethereum and Zilliqa blockchain that helps artists and creators monetize their work by browsing, minting, or selling tokens without having any prior knowledge of coding.

Mintable has a list of top corporate investors. The list includes companies such as,  Ripple Labs, Animoca Brands, Metapurse, Double Peak, 7 O’Clock Capital, 640 Oxford Ventures, Digital Finance Group, Spark Digital Capital, Reimagined Ventures, and 840 Venture Partners. All these companies see the NFT market value soaring.

Also circulating in the reports are individual investors. The individual investors list includes , American entrepreneur Doug Band, Shutterstock founder Jon Oringer, and Expedia Group’s John Kim.

However, the top and most popular individual investor is none other than Mark Cuban. Cuban has backed the minting platform, which said it raised $13 million in its most recent round of funding.

There was an earlier round of funding which involved two other well know actors. In that round, the company raised a undisclosed amount of funding with the help of Sound Ventures. Sound Ventures is founded by U2 manger Guy Oseary and actor Ashton Kutcher.

The Singapore-based company said it will use the new funds to scale its operations and acquire new users. Mintable said it saw strong growth in the past year, reaching a total of 700,000 items minted on its platform.
