MIAMI — Another large gathering of college students responding to the Gospel is raising a question increasingly being asked across Christian communities: Is revival spreading across America?
Hundreds of students reportedly made decisions to follow Jesus during a UniteUS gathering Tuesday night at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida, near the University of Miami campus. Students from across South Florida gathered for worship, preaching and prayer, with baptisms taking place following the event.

Hundreds Respond to the Gospel
UniteUS founder Tonya Prewett, joined by Madi Prewett Troutt and Grant Troutt, presented the Gospel during the September 29 gathering.
Prewett reported afterward that hundreds of students had decided to follow Jesus and pursue water baptism. UniteUS also described students from different backgrounds worshiping together and said baptisms continued outside following the gathering.
Miami Follows Another Major Campus Gathering
The Miami event comes only one week after thousands gathered at Pepperdine University in California for another UniteUS outreach.
Pepperdine independently reported that thousands attended its September 22 gathering and that 19 students were baptized afterward. UniteUS and CBN reported that hundreds made professions of faith during the event.

A Movement Growing Across College Campuses
UniteUS began at Auburn University in September 2023 and has since expanded to college campuses around the country. The organization says its gatherings are centered on three objectives: salvation, spiritual freedom and connecting students with Christian community and local churches.
CBN reports that UniteUS has now reached more than two dozen college campuses, with organizers reporting more than 100,000 students participating since the movement began.
Whether these gatherings ultimately represent a nationwide Christian revival will depend on what happens beyond the large events—particularly discipleship, church involvement and lasting spiritual commitment.
But from California to Florida and campuses in between, one development is becoming difficult to overlook: large numbers of young Americans are gathering publicly to hear the Gospel and worship Jesus Christ.
