SPRING, TEXAS — A massive Texas estate associated with prominent megachurch founder Bishop I.V. Hilliard is once again attracting attention—but the property itself is not new to the market.

The sprawling Spring, Texas compound has been marketed for several years and gained widespread attention in 2024 when it carried a $15 million asking price. Now, more than two years later, the estate remains for sale after being relisted on August 19, 2026, for $10.75 million.
That represents a $4.25 million drop from its $15 million asking price in 2024.
Nearly 10 Acres of Luxury
Located at 19525 Doerre Road, the property sits on approximately 9.82 acres.
The current listing describes a 30,000-square-foot primary residence along with five additional residences, two garage apartments and 22 garage spaces, bringing the compound to more than 40,000 square feet of combined living space.
And the amenities make the property resemble a private resort.
The estate features a resort-style swimming pool with cabanas, home theater, banquet hall, commercial kitchen, fitness center and office complex. The property also provides access to a lake stocked with trophy bass.
The owner’s suite includes a 25-foot ceiling, private exercise room and sunken Jacuzzi tub. The estate was renovated in 2020.
The Bishop I.V. Hilliard Connection
Bishop I.V. Hilliard founded New Light Christian Center Church with his wife, Pastor Bridget Hilliard.
The estate’s connection to Hilliard has been publicly documented for years, and previous reporting identified the property as his residence.
The property has also drawn attention because of its history as a church-associated parsonage.
Previous reporting surrounding the estate examined its tax-exempt status and its use as a minister’s residence, retreat and conference facility.

The Property Has Been on the Market for Years
The history is important because the $10.75 million listing should not be mistaken for the first time the estate has been offered for sale.
Property records show the compound was listed in October 2023 for approximately $12.79 million. The asking price eventually climbed to $15 million during 2024.
Since then, the property has repeatedly appeared on and off the market at different prices, including $11 million and $12.5 million.
On August 19, 2026, it returned to the market at its current $10.75 million asking price.
Despite years of marketing and several price adjustments, the massive estate has yet to find a buyer.
More Than a Mansion Story
For Christians, the story is likely to generate discussion extending beyond the property’s enormous price tag.
There is no evidence from the current real estate listing establishing wrongdoing by Bishop Hilliard or New Light Christian Center Church.
But a multimillion-dollar property associated with a prominent megachurch leader—and previously described as a parsonage—naturally raises questions about church wealth, pastoral compensation, financial stewardship and how churches use ministry property.
Those questions become even more striking when considering the sheer scale of the compound: nearly 10 acres, multiple residences, resort-style amenities and more than 40,000 square feet of combined living space.
After years on the market and millions of dollars in price adjustments, the estate remains available.
And perhaps the larger question for the Christian community is not simply how much the property is worth.
When does providing for ministry leadership cross the line into excessive luxury—and who should determine where that line is?
